4 weeks post-op walking and he’s doing great! Doing range of motion physical therapy exercises every day and extending our walks by a few meters every time. Snowy had TPLO surgery June 17th because he ruptured his cruciate ligament. 2 weeks later he needed emergency surgery again to remove a fixation pin from his knee because it had punctured the skin from the inside out which posed a great risk of bone infection if we did nothing. And to top it off, he also had a ‘shaft infection’ in his wee part. For the sale of narrating this PG13. It’s been 2 weeks since Snowy’s surgery and despite having to go in again for emergency removal of one of the fixation pins that punctured the skin (the vet had hoped it wouldn’t but it had to come out earlier than it should’ve) he’s actually doing really good!
